Do you often have various problems when using silicone to make molds? For example, the surface of the mold is not smooth? Not easy to demould? The mold has bubbles that are not durable and so on? Below, our red leaf silicone company's master will teach you 5 strokes to easily get the silicone mold problem! The first step: model processing Pick a good model. Because all the molds are made with the mold, it is good to mold the mold. If the surface of the mold is not particularly smooth, the mold is ground and polished to make the surface smooth enough. And a layer of release agent is applied on the surface of the mold, which is convenient for later demoulding, and the release agent can generally have the following four kinds: vaseline, soapy water, detergent, liquid paraffin. The second step: weighing ratio The silica gel was placed on an electronic scale for weighing, and the curing agent was added in a prescribed ratio. Generally, the ratio is about 100:3, and then the AB component is uniformly stirred. (Example: Take 100 g of component A silica gel and add 3 g of curing agent.) If the silica gel and the curing agent are not evenly mixed, the mold will appear to be solidified and the piece will not be cured. This uneven curing condition will affect the service life of the silicone mold and the number of mold overturns, and even cause the mold to be scrapped. Therefore, the silica gel and the curing agent must be stirred evenly. The third step: vacuuming and discharging bubbles After the silica gel and the curing agent are evenly stirred, the vacuuming step is performed, and the vacuuming time should not be too long. Under normal conditions, it can be 2-3 minutes, the vacuuming time is too long, and the silica gel and the curing agent are cross-linked and cannot be reflected. Applying or infusing, this will result in the scrapping of the silica gel and the need to re-take the silica gel. PS: Until -0.1mpa, you can remove the silicone! The fourth step: infusion of silica gel The vacuum-packed silica gel is slowly injected into the mold frame along a corner of the mold frame, which is convenient for reducing the generation of bubbles during pouring, and is advantageous for improving the performance of the mold. The injected silica gel is allowed to completely cover the mold. Step 5: Silicone release After 4-5 hours, the silica gel is completely cured, and the mold can be taken out, and the silicone mold is completed. However, if it is not particularly urgent, it is recommended that the silicone mold be allowed to stand for one night, so that the performance of the silicone mold is completely stabilized, and then put into production, so that the performance of the silicone mold can reach the best state! The teacher of Hongye Silicone Company teaches you 5 strokes to easily solve the problem of silicone mold. Have you learned all these 5 tricks?
