Yes, silicone mold is much better than polyster mold First, polyster is harder than silicone, it will demould difficultly and the moulds will be easily to broke,then reduce the using time. While Silicone moulds can demould easily and work for many times. Second, for polyster’s hard ,it can not duplicate the detailed patterns .But silicone can work very well for detailed patterns. Third, the polyster e mould have high shrinkage, the moulds will deform easily. Silicone moulds have low shrinkage.
