A problem about silicone molds get deformation

Silicone molds get deformation is a phenomenon which often encountered, but why the silicone molds get deformed ?It is a problem worth exploring.   　　One of the reason for deformation may be that that the silicone molds have been insufficiently aged or the rubber mold has been improperly stored. If the silicone rubber is no comprehensive care for aging, which will produce the problem not only deformed but also the greatly reduce of its quality and service life. 　　In the process of maintenance, especially in the maintenance of aging stage, if the silicone rubber has not been properly fixed abrasives, then the deformation will occur. In this case, it's better for silicone molds bounded with inner or outer abrasive together, so that it can completely prevent the phenomena of deformation during the stage of aging maintenance. 　　On the other hand, it can be due to the reason of adding too silicone oil. We all know that silicone oil has played a role in diluting the viscosity of silicone. However, the content of silicone oil in fact directly determines the quality of the silicone rubber. If too much silicone oil content is added in the processing stage, it will lead to too high viscosity of the silicone oil. And too little silicone oil added will meet the silicone rubber having a poor quality. Therefore, the content of silicone rubber directly determines whether the silicone molds will deform, which belongs to quality factor. Normally we do not advise our customers to add any silicone oil into the silicone rubber. If it is necessary, the ratio must be 5%-10%. You can also try to add some silicone oil with high viscosity. 　　In addition, we should choose silicone rubber with suitable hardness for making molds. That is to say, choosing silicone rubber with high hardness to make molds for large size products and the soft silicone is applicable to small size products with detailed patterns. Then, you should make an outer mold which should be a layer silicone add a layer fiber glass or cloth, etc. to prevent the silicone molds from deformation.
