GRC Mould Making Silicone Rubber

DESCRIPTION
        GRC casting silicone is mainly used for GRC products molds with the advantages of high tear strength, high durability, high temperature resistance, long shelf life, high duplication times etc. It is suitable for large products or simple products or hard products. This molding silicone is one of the products with the highest use level in the production of many kinds of products, and the shrinkage is even lower than 2‰.The rtv mold making silicone rubber(condensation curing) is generally called two-component room temperature vulcanization type with excellent fluidity and operational performance. Add curing agent of 2%-5% at room temperature, the plaster molding silicone is still operational within 30-60 minutes,and in 2-5 hours, a high tear silicone elastomers will be obtained with resistance to deformation, high-temperature, acid and alkali, and expansion.   


APPLICATIONS
        This high tear strentgh GRC molding silicone rubber can be used in making molds for plaster cement, concrete, polyurethaneresin buddha, clay figurine, stone figures, garden sculptures, fiberglass animal, flower pot, fountain, mud decorations, rockery, artificial hill and so on.  


OPERATION INSTRUCTION
        RTV-2 GRC mould making silicone rubber is a flowing liquid with general hardness of 33—37A°after curing process, is in white color. Also you can add some dye according to your needs, but you should contact with us first, because some type of dye will affect the silicone property and quality. If customer wants to make large products and large size molds, the mold should be made of silicone rubber with high hardness such as HY-635 which has 35 shore A hardness. On the contrary, if  the mold with fine and precision patterns, it should be made of silicone with low hardness such as HY-615 which has 15 shore A hardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If requires faster drying rate, more curing agent should be needed; contrarily, if requires slower drying, less curing agent is needed. If all the operation is correct, you will obtain a perfect silicone elastomers for molding. The proportions and reactions of the curing agent and the silicone are listed as follows: 　　1. Adding curing agent 1%, the silicone could still be operated within 2.5 hours, and could be demoulded after 6-8 hours. 　　
2. Adding curing agent 2%, the silicone could still be operated within 50 minutes to 1 hour and could be demoulded after 2-3 hours. 　　
3. Adding curing agent 3%, the silicone could still be operated within 28 - 30 minutes and could be demoulded after 1.5-2 hours. 　　
4. Adding curing agent 4%, the silicone could still be operated within 10 - 15 minutes and could be demoulded after 1 -1.5 hours.
